W. Thomas Klim

Financial Advisor

Tom grew up in New Middletown, Ohio, and is a 1997 graduate of Springfield Local High School. He attended Youngstown State University for two years before transferring to Kent State where he received his bachelor's degree in finance in 2002. Tom entered the financial services industry in 2002 and currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses as well as various insurance licenses. Tom has also completed the state of Ohio requirement for the Long-Term Care Partnership Plan. Tom works largely in a fee based investment advisory capacity as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) of Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Inc., a registered investment adviser.

Tom believes clients need to address all areas of the financial planning process and currently offers financial planning, investment management and insurance products to existing and prospective clients. Among others, Tom works with medical professionals making the transition from residency into full time practice, business owners encountering individual and business decisions, and baby boomers dealing with tough retirement decisions.

Tom is currently a member of the New Middletown Lions Club. In his free time Tom enjoys playing golf and following the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State Buckeyes. Tom resides in Poland, Ohio, with his wife Kelsey, son Konnor, and their two dogs, Beckett and Rooney.
